An X (Twitter) user, Majin Bu reported that Apple will announce the above-mentioned design in March next year, but the current design has not yet been completed. The new "hole punch" full-screen design will probably not be seen until the iPhone 17 is released.
This concept shows in an accurate way, in my opinion, the way in which Apple will optimize the dynamic functionality already present on current iPhone in the future

Majin Bu also shared the design of another netizen, saying that even if the iPhone will not remove the dynamic island function in the future, it will still improve it, such as reducing the range of the dynamic island and removing the speaker directly above the phone.
There are comments that Apple will not abandon the design of Dynamic Island after two generations of launch. Majin Bu also agrees, saying that as far as he knows now, the design of Dynamic Island will still exist when iPhone 16 Pro is launched.
