Tecno Mobile is set to launch a new device under it's Camon line up. Tecno Camon 18 was spotted last few week since then we have been gathering as much information we can put together to have a better assumption on the new Camon Series. Tecno move to a new direction with the introduction of Camon 17 pro few months ago.
What to Expect
Camon 18 will bring more better camera to it's line up ahead of any other Tecno Smartphone. It's rumored to have a 60x Periscope with the latest TECNO’s proprietary AI TAIVOS technology, CAMON 18’s triple camera setup will have an aperture range between f/1.6 – 3.5, and a lens between 16-135mm. The cameras don’t seem to protrude much, and the overall design looks pretty clean with round corners. We can also see a fingerprint sensor situated conveniently on the side, which is increasingly becoming common among smartphones in the past couple of years.
We have got information that the TECNO CAMON 18 Premier is going to be the first phone to be released with Mediatek’s latest Helio G96 chip in the African market. And with 60x zoom camera at the back, the CAMON 18 seems to shift its focus towards better photography.
Release Date
The Tecno CAMON 18 Premier will make its entry sometime in October. No details have been released yet about the pricing or its availability, so we will have to wait for more details to be released closer to the launch date. The colors that we have above look interesting, but there could be more options at launch.
