Redmi Note 8 (2021) MIUI 13
The update carries firmware version V13.0.2.0.SCUMIXM for the Redmi Note 8 (2021) and is rolling out the “Global” region. The full ROM is sized 2.7GB and comes with the January security patch. Being marked as a “stable beta” means that it is yet to roll out widely, but once declared bug-free, more users should be getting it.
The official changelog reveals that other than bringing the latest MIUI version to the device, the update also brings better optimization for some apps and overall improvement in system stability.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro also gets the MIUI 13 update, however, it is only limited to Europen regions for now. The update comes with version number V13.0.3.0.SKFEUXM and is rolling out to devices in the EEA (European Economic Area) region. The update carries a size of 3.3GB and similar to the Note 8 update, it is marked as “stable beta.” The update will be released to the general consumers once it is declared bug-free
The official changelog doesn’t have much to say about the contents of the update and touts optimized system performance and improved system security and stability which may indicate in the inclusion of the January security patch.
Users of the Redmi 10 Pro outside Europe are also expected to soon receive this update. As for Indian users, they can expect this update to hit their Redmi Note 10 Pro Max devices the company has rebranded the Redmi Note 10 Pro in the Indian market.
