Each month, one member of the Culture Corps is recognized as a Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts of living our Values and helping our teams, customers and communities grow beyond what we believe is possible. Todd has been a part of the CNR team for over 16 years, and he has proven his dedication to the team and our values countless times! His team member said that Todd is 鈥渁lways reliable, hardworking, and not afraid to get his hands dirty or to find a better way of doing things.鈥
Ben Parker, MG鈥檚 Plant Manager, shares that Tina goes above and beyond to help her team members, and she always does it with a smile. He says he has never heard her tell anyone no for anything. She does her job well, and she also reaches out to help her co-workers when they have a bad day. Her trademark small acts of kindness have made her a joy to be around and a wonderful team member.
Terry joined the DTPS team at the central Louisiana port eight years ago, and he is an incredible example of our values in action 鈥 especially when it comes to rising to the challenge and the DTPS core values of 鈥淪ay it, do it, own it鈥 and 鈥淕ive.鈥 His nominator says one example of this was in 2022. "we had a bus pipe issue when a vendor was late shipping us a piece for a high-profile project. The customer was going to be at our facility in a few days to inspect their structure, so we were under a major time crunch. Terry helped us come up with a solution and then came in on a Saturday to make sure the job was done before our customer arrived. This affected 2 things: (ONE) Our customer arrived and the bus was up on the structure and they didn't know any different (and TWO) the structure was able to ship on the scheduled date and deliver on time - all thanks to Terry!"
Before moving to his new position, Scotty was a Senior Estimator for the team where he supported Beta鈥檚 growing proposal requests and headcount. Last year, the Proposal group at Beta underwent substantial growth, and his then collogue, now supervisor Chris Lohman, shared that without Scotty's mentoring, the team wouldn鈥檛 be where they are today. 鈥淪cotty [took three new estimators] under his wing and has been a major part of their growth and learning.鈥
Congratulations to Nikki Edwards on being inducted into the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Culture Corps for the month of July and being named Culture Champion! Nikki is a Talent Acquisition Specialist for 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and works directly with the DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations鈥 team to recruit and retain our most valuable asset, our people. Nikki brings incredible passion to our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件. For so many of 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team members, Nikki is the source of encouragement, information, and support from the time they applied, to their first day on the job, and beyond. Her teammates say that she is a great example of 鈥渄oing the right thing,鈥 鈥渨inning together,鈥 鈥渜uestioning the status quo,鈥 and 鈥渞ising to the challenge.鈥 Nikki shows true leadership by empowering and supporting our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and goes out of her way to galvanize and celebrate her team.
Kacie is the embodiment of rising to the challenge and shows true leadership by empowering and supporting her team at MG. She encourages them to communicate effectively, build skills, and expand their work experiences to grow and pull together as a team. When presented with new ideas or projects, she asks all of the right questions to understand why things are done the way they are and if they can be done better. She often presents new ideas or methods to perform tasks, improve efficiency, or solve a problem for the company. But even more importantly, she also makes everyone feel valued and part of the team and focuses on winning together and supporting the MG and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family wherever she can.
Congratulations to Jimmy Eubanks, Inventory Manager for DIS-TRAN Steel. Jimmy has been with DIS-TRAN Steel and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 for more than two decades! With his 20 years of experience, without a doubt, he is a huge asset to 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team. Jimmy has many connections and has purchased steel in just about every market. However, it is Jimmy鈥檚 ability to lead through influence and live out our 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Values that help enable DIS-TRAN Steel to succeed on an unlimited scale. Jimmy鈥檚 competitive. He鈥檚 determined and rises to every challenge. 51黑料爆料网历史事件 is pleased to announce we have TWO Culture Champions for the month of March, Keith Henry and David Harrington from the Proposal Team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. These two created a brand-new procedure within the proposal development process and its impact is ringing loud and clear. Congratulations to Keith and David!

Emily doesn鈥檛 hesitate to go above and beyond by recognizing the needs of our team and working to find tailored solutions to problems while empowering others to succeed along the way.
When it comes to Winning together and celebrating success, Cedrick is the guy for the job! Cedric always makes himself available to support and teach new hires when they join the team. He is dedicated to his work, doing the right thing, and leading by example. Cedric has also been one of the most active participants in our Culture Corps program. He鈥檚 eager to celebrate and recognize his teammates for the work they do and the way they 鈥渨alk the talk鈥 each day. Congratulations to Eric White, Production Supervisor for DIS-TRAN Steel Ohio. And both his nominator, Wendy Gintz, and supervisor, Alex Brouillette, share how Eric has stepped up in countless ways to ensure the company鈥檚 long-term vision comes to fruition. Industry and product knowledge are incredibly valuable in Steel鈥檚 manufacturing processes. Eric recognized the struggles DIS-TRAN Steel Ohio was going through without having someone on-site with the same level of experience we have in Pineville, so he made a huge investment and moved more than 900 miles to Washington Courthouse to help that team grow into the production facility DIS-TRAN Steel needs to be successful. Eric, thank you for being a true example of rising to the challenge. We are incredibly lucky to have you on our team!

With an eye for continuous improvement, she is not afraid to question 鈥渨hy鈥 and look for innovative ways to solve a problem or reach a goal.
