Each month, one member of the Culture Corps is recognized as a Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts of living our Values and helping our teams, customers and communities grow beyond what we believe is possible. These Culture Champions receive the 鈥淲alkie-Talkie Award鈥 for their commitment to walking the talk and living our our Values every day.

Brian joined our team as a Civil Engineer in 2014. His supervisor, Travis Larrabee, shared how Brian is dependable and has a talent for thinking outside the box to turn challenges into success. Brian鈥檚 nominator, Chris Willcutt, says, 鈥淏rian is always someone you can count on to get the job done. He meets challenges head-on and independently researches solutions to bring to the table. He is a great asset to the team that helps us win together!鈥
Aaron joined the team at Optimal in 2017, and his team shares that he is about as close to an ideal team member as you can get. Darnell Gremillion says that 鈥淎aron is always making sure everyone has what [we] need to be successful.鈥 Jacob Fontenot shares that Aaron 鈥渢ruly embraces the values of 鈥渨e win together鈥 and 鈥渨e rise to the challenge.鈥 He is always working diligently to be sure we鈥檙e ready for the next job."
Brittany's nominator, Justin Ware, shares that 鈥淸she] always has an open door,鈥 and that it has been very helpful to the team. 鈥淏rittany is extremely approachable and has a way of explaining things in terms that make sense. Rather than just telling you what buttons to click and walking away, she will always do her best to ensure you are comfortable with whatever work you have in front of you.鈥
Chandler joined the team in 2022, and his nominator, Tommy Fontenot, says that 鈥渨hether it鈥檚 coming in early to fill a customer鈥檚 order or staying late to ensure the production process is complete, [Chanler] rises to the challenge to make sure the job gets done. Nikki is a Talent Acquisition Specialist for 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and works directly with the DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations鈥 team to recruit and retain our most valuable asset, our people. Nikki brings incredible passion to our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件. For so many of 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team members, Nikki is the source of encouragement, information, and support from the time they applied, to their first day on the job, and beyond. Her teammates say that she is a great example of 鈥渄oing the right thing,鈥 鈥渨inning together,鈥 鈥渜uestioning the status quo,鈥 and 鈥渞ising to the challenge.鈥 Nikki shows true leadership by empowering and supporting our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and goes out of her way to galvanize and celebrate her team.
Kacie is the embodiment of rising to the challenge and shows true leadership by empowering and supporting her team at MG. She encourages them to communicate effectively, build skills, and expand their work experiences to grow and pull together as a team. When presented with new ideas or projects, she asks all of the right questions to understand why things are done the way they are and if they can be done better. She often presents new ideas or methods to perform tasks, improve efficiency, or solve a problem for the company. But even more importantly, she also makes everyone feel valued and part of the team and focuses on winning together and supporting the MG and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family wherever she can.
Congratulations to Jimmy Eubanks, Inventory Manager for DIS-TRAN Steel. Jimmy has been with DIS-TRAN Steel and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 for more than two decades! With his 20 years of experience, without a doubt, he is a huge asset to 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team. Jimmy has many connections and has purchased steel in just about every market. However, it is Jimmy鈥檚 ability to lead through influence and live out our 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Values that help enable DIS-TRAN Steel to succeed on an unlimited scale. Jimmy鈥檚 competitive. He鈥檚 determined and rises to every challenge. Shannon joined the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 HR team in 2021 and hit the ground running directing multiple projects, initiatives and large-scale rollouts and system upgrades within her first year on the job. Her nominator, Kari Snoody, shares that 鈥淪hannon goes above and beyond for everyone she works with. I can approach her with anything 鈥 Whether it be work related or something going on in my personal life, she always guides me in the right direction.
