Each month, one member of the Culture Corps is recognized as a Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts of living our Values and helping our teams, customers and communities grow beyond what we believe is possible. Congratulations to Carl Jackson! Carl helps operate Millennium Galvanizing鈥檚 kettle. Carl is focused, embraces teamwork, and has truly risen to ANY and ALL challenges he鈥檚 faced with. His teammates say he has gone out of his comfort zone to learn and grow within Millennium Galvanizing. Carl's growth is noticed and his impact is highly felt within our culture.

Roger was nominated by MULTIPLE teammates 鈥 each of them making note of his calm patience, reliability, quality of work, and overall, his ownership of doing the right thing. His teammate, Heather Blalock says, 鈥淲hen I first started, another co-worker advised me to 鈥淏e Like Roger,鈥 and I鈥檝e been trying to do that ever since. 51黑料爆料网历史事件 is pleased to announce we have TWO Culture Champions for the month of March, Keith Henry and David Harrington from the Proposal Team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. These two created a brand-new procedure within the proposal development process and its impact is ringing loud and clear. Congratulations to Keith and David!
Robert is a great example of our values in action! As St. Jude鈥檚 Heroes, he and his son Landon raise funds for the children鈥檚 cancer research center and the families receiving treatment there in honor of his late wife, Monica, who passed away from cancer. Robert champions the phrase 鈥渞ise to the challenge,鈥 and he focuses on building lasting relationships and supporting his team to make sure we can all win together both in the community and across the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family.

Our Culture Champion for the month of May 2022 is Chaz Cannova 鈥 Corporate Counsel at 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Operations. Chaz is an incredible example of integrity and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. He goes out of his way to help and support our teams - doing the hard or unpopular jobs when others are hesitant to step up to the plate. And he does it all with a great attitude and a fun spirit. For example, he is dressed up like the Easter Bunny at our Family Easter Egg Hunt. He was inside a hot costume on a hot day 鈥 all so that our little ones could have a special Easter. And he does so much more than this! Like the rest of our legal team, he rises to the daily complex and robust challenges they face while serving all 9 of our companies. Together they build that culture of honesty, accountability, and winning together.
Chip Cooper is our Director of Finance at 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Operations. Chip鈥檚 team member Richard Emberly nominated him because of his work to strengthen and continue to develop the culture in the Accounting & Finance group across our company. He leads the AF team to question the status quo at every opportunity and make sure that they're empowered to do the right thing and work together to build trust and success for all our business units. Way to go Chip! We are so happy to have you leading our team!
Kenny is a part of Mid-State鈥檚 team in Alexandria, Louisiana, and he鈥檚 left his mark as an encouraging, tenacious, and passionate team member. His Nominator, Ashlee Rashal, says that 鈥淜enny lives by doing the right thing. He doesn鈥檛 mind having the tough conversations [by] being upfront, honest, and working to give [others] peace of mind. He is a well-respected member of [Mid-State, and] always [goes] above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of and business runs smoothly.鈥
Levi has been part of the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family for 8 years, and his leadership and dedication to living our values have been a key part of the growth of his team members. His nominator, Andrew Crawford, says, 鈥淟evi is continually going above and beyond with his leadership and guidance. He's constantly checking in to make sure his team is on track and in a good place within the business, and he [supports us] in many areas outside of just the day-to-day grind.鈥
