Each month, one member of the Culture Corps is recognized as a Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts of living our Values and helping our teams, customers and communities grow beyond what we believe is possible. Congratulations to Stacey Hayes, Office Manager at Beta Engineering. Stacey has been a part of the Beta Engineering team for more than 25 years, and she has become a key example of what it means to live our values. Stacey was nominated by her coworker, Kim Long, and Kim was passionate about celebrating how Stacey has empowered her and other team members to grow and be the best they can be. She never lets the stress of the job interfere with her heart for our teams and makes sure we all have all we need to succeed. Other team members share how she is a fantastic representative for the Culture Corps as she goes out of her way to welcome, support, and empower the teams at Beta and beyond.
Congratulations to Nick Thomas, Factory-Built Substation (FBS) Technician at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. Nick started at our Product Support Services (PSS) facility at the Alexandria Regional Port almost two years ago, and his teammates have noticed how he shows up and gives it his all every day. Nick鈥檚 nominator, Cedrick Wilson from DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations (DTPS), says that Nick 鈥渞eally gives 100% daily and is always willing to learn, accept responsibility, and grow. He values the ideals, goals, and standards of the company,鈥 and we are lucky to have him on our team.
Congratulations to Jimmy Eubanks, Inventory Manager for DIS-TRAN Steel. Jimmy has been with DIS-TRAN Steel and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 for more than two decades! With his 20 years of experience, without a doubt, he is a huge asset to 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team. Jimmy has many connections and has purchased steel in just about every market. However, it is Jimmy鈥檚 ability to lead through influence and live out our 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Values that help enable DIS-TRAN Steel to succeed on an unlimited scale. Jimmy鈥檚 competitive. He鈥檚 determined and rises to every challenge. Congratulations to Pat Abernathy, Counter Sales Manager at Mid-State. Pat is someone who challenges you to do better every day and will be there for you anytime you need him. Pat was nominated by his teammates who spoke about his talents and compassion as a coworker, supervisor, father, and friend. They say that Pat is one of the best human beings that they know, and many of his teammates would not be who they are today without the help and support from Pat.
51黑料爆料网历史事件 is pleased to announce we have TWO Culture Champions for the month of March, Keith Henry and David Harrington from the Proposal Team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. These two created a brand-new procedure within the proposal development process and its impact is ringing loud and clear. Congratulations to Keith and David!
Robert is a great example of our values in action! As St. Jude鈥檚 Heroes, he and his son Landon raise funds for the children鈥檚 cancer research center and the families receiving treatment there in honor of his late wife, Monica, who passed away from cancer. Robert champions the phrase 鈥渞ise to the challenge,鈥 and he focuses on building lasting relationships and supporting his team to make sure we can all win together both in the community and across the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family.

Shannon joined the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 HR team in 2021 and hit the ground running directing multiple projects, initiatives and large-scale rollouts and system upgrades within her first year on the job. Her nominator, Kari Snoody, shares that 鈥淪hannon goes above and beyond for everyone she works with. I can approach her with anything 鈥 Whether it be work related or something going on in my personal life, she always guides me in the right direction. His teammates say that his work ethic, moral character, and dedication to safety are essential aspects of upholding our value of 鈥渄oing the right thing.鈥 James has strong tactful skill when dealing with others. He never fails to help educate teammates on the job site, and he always goes above and beyond for everyone.

Justin is a Factory-Built Substation Technician at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations鈥 Project Support Services Center. He is a great example of both 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and DIS-TRAN鈥檚 culture and values. His teammates say he lives out DIS-TRAN鈥檚 value of 鈥楤e Who You Are鈥 and 鈥楪ive鈥 every day. Even when it is not his responsibility or no one is looking, he goes above and beyond to take care of his teammates.
