Cory has been a key part of the E&D team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations for more than 3 years. Cory鈥檚 coworkers, supervisor, and DTPS leaders agree that his perseverance and dedication are an incredible asset to the DTPS team, especially over the last few months. They share how his tenacity and ability to get things done with a high level of team spirit are helping to lead the team in the right direction. Shannon joined the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 HR team in 2021 and hit the ground running directing multiple projects, initiatives and large-scale rollouts and system upgrades within her first year on the job. Her nominator, Kari Snoody, shares that 鈥淪hannon goes above and beyond for everyone she works with. I can approach her with anything 鈥 Whether it be work related or something going on in my personal life, she always guides me in the right direction. Chris has been with the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family of Companies for more than 13 years, but he recently moved into the Proposals department at Beta Engineering in February of this year. Chris was nominated by his supervisor, Steve Ganey who spotlighted Chris for his dedication, leadership and industry knowledge. Steve shares that 鈥淭o do a good job on a task is great and needed, but to do it consistently is something that we all should strive for, and we see this from Chris on a daily basis - both as a team member and as a leader. We at Beta and in the Proposal Department greatly benefit from his leadership skills and strong knowledge of our industry.鈥 Chris has been a great addition to the Proposal Group at Beta and has helped in their continuous improvement process to continue to boost both Beta and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 as a whole. Congratulations to Nikki Edwards on being inducted into the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Culture Corps for the month of July and being named Culture Champion! Nikki is a Talent Acquisition Specialist for 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and works directly with the DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations鈥 team to recruit and retain our most valuable asset, our people. Nikki brings incredible passion to our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件. For so many of 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team members, Nikki is the source of encouragement, information, and support from the time they applied, to their first day on the job, and beyond. Her teammates say that she is a great example of 鈥渄oing the right thing,鈥 鈥渨inning together,鈥 鈥渜uestioning the status quo,鈥 and 鈥渞ising to the challenge.鈥 Nikki shows true leadership by empowering and supporting our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and goes out of her way to galvanize and celebrate her team.
Rob has been with our teams for more than fifteen years, and he is an excellent example of our values in action. He is constantly looking for ways to improve and think outside of the box to create solutions that benefit his team and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 as a whole. Rob鈥檚 nominator said that his dedication to CNR and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 is 鈥渢ruly impressive鈥 as he values collaboration, is willing to engage in healthy conflict, and holds himself and others accountable to deadlines and commitments. Rob鈥檚 approach to challenges, dedication to learning new skills and stretching his technical knowledge are perfect examples of rising to the challenge and questioning the status quo.
Aaron joined the team at Optimal in 2017, and his team shares that he is about as close to an ideal team member as you can get. Darnell Gremillion says that 鈥淎aron is always making sure everyone has what [we] need to be successful.鈥 Jacob Fontenot shares that Aaron 鈥渢ruly embraces the values of 鈥渨e win together鈥 and 鈥渨e rise to the challenge.鈥 He is always working diligently to be sure we鈥檙e ready for the next job."
Terry joined the DTPS team at the central Louisiana port eight years ago, and he is an incredible example of our values in action 鈥 especially when it comes to rising to the challenge and the DTPS core values of 鈥淪ay it, do it, own it鈥 and 鈥淕ive.鈥 His nominator says one example of this was in 2022. "we had a bus pipe issue when a vendor was late shipping us a piece for a high-profile project. The customer was going to be at our facility in a few days to inspect their structure, so we were under a major time crunch. Terry helped us come up with a solution and then came in on a Saturday to make sure the job was done before our customer arrived. This affected 2 things: (ONE) Our customer arrived and the bus was up on the structure and they didn't know any different (and TWO) the structure was able to ship on the scheduled date and deliver on time - all thanks to Terry!"
Richard has been on our team for 5 years, and more than 7 team members nominated him to the Culture Corps. "Richard has gone above and beyond in his support of our teams," says Gaylene Davis. "His work ethic is exemplary, and he takes on challenges with intense determination and without complaint. Although he has high demand on his time, he is always courteous, kind, and willing to help others. Richard is a good example to all of us. I appreciate and respect him more than he knows." "When I started at 51黑料爆料网历史事件 as an intern, Richard helped me develop professionally by always taking the time to explain things to me," says Graham Pearson. "Through his selflessness and dedication to his work, Richard has inspired me and helped me grow beyond what I believed was possible. He truly embodies all of 51黑料爆料网历史事件' core values."
Todd has been a part of the CNR team for over 16 years, and he has proven his dedication to the team and our values countless times! His team member said that Todd is 鈥渁lways reliable, hardworking, and not afraid to get his hands dirty or to find a better way of doing things.鈥
Ben Parker, MG鈥檚 Plant Manager, shares that Tina goes above and beyond to help her team members, and she always does it with a smile. He says he has never heard her tell anyone no for anything. She does her job well, and she also reaches out to help her co-workers when they have a bad day. Her trademark small acts of kindness have made her a joy to be around and a wonderful team member.
Congratulations to Nu Le, Financial Systems Analyst at 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Operations, on her induction into Culture Corps! Nu is a great example of owning doing the right thing and winning together. She is very active with our teams both in the office and at community events to support charities and organizations in central Louisiana. Her nominator Tyler Pasche says that 鈥淣u will go above and beyond to make sure our teams鈥 needs are met.鈥 She is dedicated to making sure our team members and business units have what they need to succeed, deliver results, and win together. Before moving to his new position, Scotty was a Senior Estimator for the team where he supported Beta鈥檚 growing proposal requests and headcount. Last year, the Proposal group at Beta underwent substantial growth, and his then collogue, now supervisor Chris Lohman, shared that without Scotty's mentoring, the team wouldn鈥檛 be where they are today. 鈥淪cotty [took three new estimators] under his wing and has been a major part of their growth and learning.鈥
