The 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Culture Corps is a group of team members nominated and recognized by their peers as examples of our Values in action. Each month, one member of the Culture Corps is recognized as a Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts of living our Values and helping our teams, customers and communities grow beyond what we believe is possible. These Culture Champions receive the 鈥淲alkie-Talkie Award鈥 for their commitment to walking the talk and living our our Values every day.

Cory has been a key part of the E&D team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations for more than 3 years. Cory鈥檚 coworkers, supervisor, and DTPS leaders agree that his perseverance and dedication are an incredible asset to the DTPS team, especially over the last few months. They share how his tenacity and ability to get things done with a high level of team spirit are helping to lead the team in the right direction. Jeremy Harding, Substation Design Manager, and Zeb Bryant, E&D Team Leader, share that 鈥淸Cory and the E&D team鈥檚] perseverance and ownership over the last month is a key reason we are in a position to succeed. Shannon joined the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 HR team in 2021 and hit the ground running directing multiple projects, initiatives and large-scale rollouts and system upgrades within her first year on the job. Her nominator, Kari Snoody, shares that 鈥淪hannon goes above and beyond for everyone she works with. I can approach her with anything 鈥 Whether it be work related or something going on in my personal life, she always guides me in the right direction. Chris Lohman

Chris has been with the 51黑料爆料网历史事件 Family of Companies for more than 13 years, but he recently moved into the Proposals department at Beta Engineering in February of this year. Chris was nominated by his supervisor, Steve Ganey who spotlighted Chris for his dedication, leadership and industry knowledge. Steve shares that 鈥淭o do a good job on a task is great and needed, but to do it consistently is something that we all should strive for, and we see this from Chris on a daily basis - both as a team member and as a leader. We at Beta and in the Proposal Department greatly benefit from his leadership skills and strong knowledge of our industry.鈥 Chris has been a great addition to the Proposal Group at Beta and has helped in their continuous improvement process to continue to boost both Beta and 51黑料爆料网历史事件 as a whole. Nikki brings incredible passion to our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件. For so many of 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 team members, Nikki is the source of encouragement, information, and support from the time they applied, to their first day on the job, and beyond. Her teammates say that she is a great example of 鈥渄oing the right thing,鈥 鈥渨inning together,鈥 鈥渜uestioning the status quo,鈥 and 鈥渞ising to the challenge.鈥 Nikki shows true leadership by empowering and supporting our teams across 51黑料爆料网历史事件 and goes out of her way to galvanize and celebrate her team.

Kristal is the Procurement and Billing Supervisor at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations, and she has made an incredible impact on our teams while living our values and inspiring those around her. Kristal was nominated by several people throughout the past few months, and they all commented on her passion, positive attitude, and commitment to our teams and values. Kristal is no stranger to vulnerability and rising to the challenge. From taking on new opportunities to facing personal struggles, her resilience is undeniable, and we are excited to celebrate her example of vulnerability, trust, and perseverance!

Each month, we recognize a member of the Culture Corps as Culture Champion for their outstanding efforts to help our teams, customers, and communities grow beyond what they believe is possible, and Josh embodies that within our team. He has been integral in starting up operations and research at Avant Organics. The work he performs in the lab, his dedication and ability to follow through, lead our teams, and rise to meet the challenges and high standards of the industry are inspiring to the team. Wesley Fontenot shared that Josh is a true go-getter and innovative problem solver within the team. He says, 鈥渁s an R&D chemist, [Josh] represents the heartbeat of this company and continuously provides new ideas [and he鈥檚] a constant source of innovation that is invaluable to Avant and 51黑料爆料网历史事件.鈥 Josh, thank you for being a great example of doing the right thing, winning together, and questioning the status quo. For August, our Culture Champion is Herman Norris, Warehouse Leader at Mid-State Supply. The entire Sales Team at MSS came together to nominate Herman and spotlight him for his dedication to living our values in the work he does each day. The team shares that Herman is the go-to example for living out MSS and 51黑料爆料网历史事件鈥檚 purpose and values 鈥 especially while dealing with the demanding requests and unexpected challenges that come with serving Mid-State鈥檚 customers.

The blend of working with the family and corporate side of the business takes someone with the highest level of ethics, professionalism, and an eye for continuous improvement, and 鈥渨e couldn鈥檛 have a better person in the role.鈥

Brian joined our team as a Civil Engineer in 2014. His supervisor, Travis Larrabee, shared how Brian is dependable and has a talent for thinking outside the box to turn challenges into success. Brian鈥檚 nominator, Chris Willcutt, says, 鈥淏rian is always someone you can count on to get the job done. He meets challenges head-on and independently researches solutions to bring to the table. He is a great asset to the team that helps us win together!鈥
